Fall 2025 Small Group Offerings
The primary goal for small groups, also known as parish groups, is three-fold and simple: fellowship (getting to know each other through personal interaction), prayer (praying the Daily Office), and study–either Bible study or a book study that reflects and instructs in our faith.
Holy Cross's current rhythm looks like this: Catechesis for children and adults before Worship on the first three Sundays of each month, with the fourth Sunday set apart for whole-parish fellowship and light lunch after worship.
Along with this rhythm, from the tiniest to the eldest, each and every parishioner is encouraged to participate in smaller gatherings for fellowship, prayer, and study.
Unless otherwise noted, beginning the second weekend in September (9/14), below are offerings for smaller Parish Gatherings.

Life Together
Small Groups or Parish Groups are a great way to connect with others outside of the Sunday worship service. By gathering together consistently, we aim for our groups to be places of genuine friendship. Small groups are also the front lines of pastoral care. So when a member has a need, the small group serves as the first responder.
Growing Together
What do small group meetings look like? Groups gather to grow together through the practices of hospitality, prayer, study, and service. Each group will feature some combination of these three practices. During certain terms all groups will follow the same study. In other seasons, groups select a study from an approved curriculum or simply gather to say Evening Prayer together and read the Scriptures appointed for the day or upcoming Sunday. Group studies may focus on a book of the Bible, a topic, or relevant book study.
Leadership
Each small group leader is a member of Holy Cross. Each small group will also select a coordinator to handle communications and logistics.
Childcare
Small groups coordinate childcare based on need. We work together to make our groups as accessible as possible for parents with children.
